Liver Detox Smoothie Recipe

My go-to smoothie!

Referenced in my post on my morning routine, here’s the recipe for the liver detox smoothie I drink most mornings to support my body’s detoxing after lemon water and celery juice. This smoothie is also great on its own for a mid-day ‘pick me up’ — or use frozen banana instead and make it into a smoothie bowl for a nutritious snack!

Ingredients

  • 1- 2 whole ripe bananas (1 banana makes for a 12-14oz smoothie)

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries (wild blueberries are best if you can find them)

  • 1 cup frozen cubed dragon fruit

  • 1 scoop MRM Nutrition Organic Whole Food Fiber Powder

  • 1 tsp Om Chaga Mushroom Powder

  • 1/4-1/2 cup of water, coconut water, or orange juice (depending on how thick you like your smoothie)

Instructions

Blend on high for 45 seconds. Add more liquid if you prefer a thinner consistency. Pour into a glass, and enjoy!

As mentioned earlier, you can use frozen bananas if you want to make a smoothie bowl instead. For this, pulse the blender on a lower speed. Pour into a bowl and top with granola or more fruit!
